I have lived in Ocean County NJ for over 20 years as a stay-at-home mom.
In 2019 my husband abandoned me and my son. I had no job skills so I began driving for Uber and Lyft, but even then, I struggled to make ends meet. Selling my house to settle the divorce was court-ordered and it turned out to be a disaster. Opportunistic individuals took advantage of my misfortune and left me and my son with nothing. I knew I had to come up with a plan to support my son.
